Noushin Choubani - Founder of Yeni Hayat Consulting
For over 20 years, Noushin has called Montréal home. Having lived through the challenges of adapting to a new country herself, she understands first-hand the struggles newcomers face — from navigating complex paperwork to building a sense of belonging in a new community.
Her professional journey began at the Turkish Embassy in Canada, where she worked as a diplomatic attaché and translator. In this role, she supported diplomats, families, and visitors, mastering the art of communication across cultures. Fluent in Azeri, Turkish, Persian, English, and French, she quickly became a trusted bridge between communities.
Beyond her professional work, Noushin has always been deeply engaged in the Turkish and Kurdish-Turkish communities of Montréal. Over the years, she has informally guided countless newcomers — helping them translate documents, register their children for school, find housing, and settle into life in Québec. For many, she became not just an interpreter, but a mentor and friend.
The idea for Yeni Hayat Consulting was born from these experiences. After years of helping people informally, Noushin decided to create a dedicated service that would allow her to support families and individuals with professionalism, structure, and care.
The name “Yeni Hayat” — which means New Life in Turkish — reflects the heart of her mission: to give newcomers the confidence, tools, and guidance they need to build their future in Canada.
Today, through Yeni Hayat Consulting, Noushin combines her diplomatic background, multilingual skills, and deep community ties to make every newcomer’s journey smoother, easier, and filled with hope.
